I would like to create a new branch halfway

I think the idea that you have made here is really good - and I like that it shows the full process. However, I can’t for the life of me figure out how I can just inject a new branch halfway into an existing “flow down” - the AI didn’t quite get what I wanted to, so I thought I could just create a new branch after all the research it did, with some more specific instructions.
